Dedicated to the Class of 2013.

Guys. I'm getting married in 95 days.
People ask me if I'm freaking out yet, or if I'm bouncing off the walls with excitement.
Truthfully?
I'm holding my shit together real well.
I still also think that this is all a dream.
Not the best way to think, but I am a pessimist after all.

In other happy news, I have two more finals and I'm free.
In depressing/bittersweet news, a lot of the amazing people that I have been in communication classes with since the beginning are leaving me.
Graduation is coming closer.
So yes, what's about to follow is yet another graduation post.
{Not like you've read enough of these already.}
They're moving on to bigger and better things in life, starting new adventures and going into the real world.
I'm about to start my own new adventure with my {soon-to-be} husband, and still have two more semesters here in T-Bird nation.
I can't say I'm BFFs with any of these people, but I can say that some of them have touched my life and made me a better student and person.
I honestly don't know how I'm going to graduate next spring, because most of my friends graduating are the smart ones.
They're the ones who email the already filled out study guides, they're the ones who organize study groups, they're the ones who know all the answers, they're the reliable ones.
I guess I'm going to have to step up my game.

Here's to Jessica P. for always sitting by me in comm. classes. This past semester it was always only us on a row... apparently we bite or something. Don't take shit from anyone, girl, including boys.
Here's to Shawn, for graciously sharing his {very-detailed} study guide with everyone all the time. He's always been stuck in a class full of women, and he handles us well.
Here's to Jenna, the most outgoing and hardworking young lady I've ever known. Not to mention she is always Christlike and a great representation of the church. She's going to accomplish great things, guys.
Here's to Taylor, for being a camera genius. Your work is wonderful, and I can't wait for you to film my wedding in August. I still have yet to walk up to your Poly husband and say, "I know who you are."
Here's to Kierra, for always being sassy and never taking crap from anyone, including professors. *cough cough Pat* I admire your bravery for taking an internship in Texas; not many people could leave their family and friends.
Here's to Chelsea, for always taking on way more than she can handle, but doing a fabulous job at it. Brides Unlimited wouldn't have happened without you.
Here's to Whitney, for all of the talks outside of class and the random text conversations. You better keep ahold of that boy. He's pretty great for you.
Here's to K.C., for being a great partner during Exit Polling and for successfully being the most awkward individual that I know.
Here's to Mo, who always knows how to make you smile even when you're feeling shitty and for her passion for soccer, her family, and Coke.
Here's to Jennica, for taking on the impossible task of the PR club and working with the club adviser. I sure as hell don't have the patience to do that.
Here's to Delaina, short in stature but big in heart. Thanks for being mine and Trev's geology buddy.

I've named a few, but only because they were the first ones to pop into my head.
I'm grateful for so many people that have made my experience here at SUU great.
I hate goodbyes, and I've been dreading these for a couple of weeks.
I've teared up a few times, kids.
Yes, it's that bad.
Trev says I'll make new friends in my classes, and that life goes on.
Of course I'll make new friends.
Of course life goes on.
I mean, people are constantly walking in and out of your life, making different impacts.
But after these past two semesters, I realized how truly blessed I am:
To have the chance to go to college, to have chosen such a versatile and worth-while major, to have made friends with some amazing people, to have a fiance who supports me in every decision.
I'm selfish, and don't want good things to end.
I don't know if I'll ever see these people again.
I hope I do, but the chances of that run slim.
(Again, I'm a pessimist, let me be.)
As my friend Jessica B. put it (she's like the only one not leaving me):

If it's bringing a tear now, it probably brought a smile before.

And really - that's what you're after.

So, here's to you, class of 2013.
Here's to the people in my life who have made a mark on me that I will never forget.
Thanks for all the smiles.
The vent sessions.
The inside jokes.
The laughter.
The same dislike towards professors.
The confusion of not knowing.
The tears.
The frustration.
The fun.
The learning.
My classmates.
My fellow T-Birds.
My friends.

Congratulations!
I love you all!
{Minus two of you.}
{Just kidding.}

Here's to Facebook stalking you from here on out. ;)
