Woe #1: "Sorry, we're booked."

I'm starting to figure out what all of my married friends griped about when they were engaged. . .

Planning a wedding is kind of stressful.

Total shocker, I know, but you don't realize all that has to be done until you start listing it out.

For starters, we chose the date August 3, 2013 to be our day of wedded bliss and love.

People, that is a little over seven months away. SEVEN MONTHS.

After contacting a couple of wedding photographers that I really like, I've been told that they're already booked.

So are a couple of reception centers.

Are you kidding me? I got engaged almost four weeks ago and just barely picked a date. I didn't think that places and people would be already booked, seven months out.

And I really, really, really don't want (no offense, good LDS folk) to get married in the church gym and have a reception there.

Apparently we just picked the wrong day to get married.

(Damn you, Utah county.)

On another note, we did decide on colors. . .

How funny. The soon-to-be Greens' are having a green wedding.

  1. Have you found a photographer yet? Our 2nd photographer just moved to Utah and she is great! Good luck--enjoy it as much as you can!
