N & T: Our Story.

I'm Natasha. He's Trevor.

We've known each other for almost a year and a half.

I thought he was a loud obnoxious pain-in-the-ass.

He thought I was quiet and unfriendly.

I started falling for him in about March, secretly, because after all he was the obnoxious next-door-neighbor.
And, well, I was waiting for an LDS missionary.

He talked to his roommates about me, because he didn't know what to do.

One night, April 13, 2012, everything just. . . clicked.

I didn't know what to do, what to think, what to say.

I was told to "get the most out of it and move on."
After all, there was the missionary.

People told him I wasn't really into him.

We started dating on May 4, 2012, and have been inseparable ever since.

We've had our ups, and our downs.

But I'm happy. In love. Ready to take on the world.

I've dated, and there was the missionary, but. . .

I've never felt the way Trev makes me feel.

And he says that I'm his whole world.

I flew down to California to visit him and his family over Christmas break on December 26. I knew a proposal was going to happen, I just didn't know when, or where.

That same night I flew in, we went ice skating with his older sister and her husband. It was going to be a nice double date. Besides, Trev had never been ice skating, and I wanted to say "Hey, I've been ice skating in California."

I didn't have a clue.

We skated for about an hour. Trev's ankles were hurting and I was tired from early morning traveling. But he said we should keep skating.

All of a sudden, he started skating out into the middle of the ice skating rink. I was terrified, watching people dodge my not so skating savy boyfriend, and began to follow.

I was turning around to look at him when he went down on one knee, opened a white box, and said, "Natasha, will you marry me?"

Shocked, stunned, and extremely happy, I just stared at him. After what felt like a lifetime, Trev said, "Is that a yes?" I choked out "Yes", he slipped a ring on my finger, and I started crying like a crazy woman.

The whole ice skating rink erupted into cheers, and I noticed my almost-sister-in-law taking pictures.

Went down onto one knee, and my world stopped spinning.
Wait. What do I say again? Yes?
Guess who said yes?

Engaged. (:
My beautiful ring
Needless to say, I'm engaged to my best friend, my partner in crime, the man of my dreams.

Sometimes he pisses me off, sometimes he says or does dumb stuff, and sometimes he takes really big bites of my food and leaves me with nothing.

But I wouldn't change anything for the world.
