Disneyland is even happier when you're with your best friend.

Honeymoon was a success.
Basically, we slept, we ate, we had sex (lots and lots of it! Come on people, quit pretending like it doesn't happen!), we went to the happiest place on Earth for three days, and spent a weekend in San Diego with Trevor's parents and brother.
I know, the last part doesn't seem like a honeymoon, but it was!
We swam and hot tubbed, we slept in, we were fat.
Trevor loved Disneyland, and playfully got after his mom for not taking him.
I, even though I'm embarrassed to admit it, got a little emotional sometimes taking it all in.
The happy music, the smiles, the laughter, a new adventure with my best friend...
Damn my woman hormones.
P.S. by the way, there will be no honeymoon baby.
I'm good for five years bitches, thanks to the IUD. ;)

Day One, August 5:
We drove to California and successfully arrived without getting lost or horribly stuck in traffic.
Before we left my parents' house Sunday morning to head back to Cedar City, I borrowed my brother's window marker to fix our "Just Married" on the back window.
Trevor just shook his head at me, but I was excited - I wanted the world to know we were newlyweds.
So for the whole drive to California, we got honked at, were given the thumbs up, received some big smiles and weird looks, and thoroughly had a more enjoyable ride.
At the hotel, we hot-tubbed and swam, watched the Disney Channel, and ordered food from a cute little chicken shop.
The hotel wasn't a five star place by any means, but it was still really nice.
We also may have gone to Vons to stock up on snacks for the rest of the week.
I bought squeeze cheese and crackers, which growing up I learned in the ultimate Disneyland treat.

Day Two, August 6:
First day in Disneyland!
I kept telling Trev it was such a magical place, and he would know it the minute we got off the shuttle bus.
Sure enough, as soon as he heard the music, saw all the people, and noticed the entrances to the two parks: "Wow! This place really is magical!"
Our first order of business through the front gate was to get us each a "Just Married" button from guest services.
We wore these buttons the whole time we were in both parks, and we received lots of congratulations and opportunities to cut lines and ride rides even faster.
We conquered a lot of the rides, took lots of pictures with characters, shared some sweet kisses and tender hugs, saw the cute Disney parade, and wrapped up the night with a firework show.
I even ran into my dear friend Whitney!
Our feet were killing by the end of the day, but neither of us could wipe the grin off of our faces.

Day Three, August 7:
We decided to choose the left, and went into California Adventure.
To me the park was smaller than I remembered, but definitely more for the older crowd.
Our first stop was to pick up a World of Color fast pass, because we had heard great reviews about it and wanted a good view.
Then, for the rest of the day, we rode the rides, got more pictures with characters, watched the Pixar parade, and waited in lots of lines.
I'm not kidding, I swear the lines at California Adventure were worse than the ones in Disneyland.
In Cars Land, the wait to ride the new Cars Ride (forgot what it's called) was 180 minutes.
That's a three hour wait, guys.
But, thanks to my nifty little Disneyland Wait-Time app on my phone (available for Android and iPhone) we noticed that the Cars Ride had shut down so we walked over there to check it out.
Right as we got there, the ride opened back up and we practically ran down the single riders line so we could ride it.
It definitely would have been ever funner had we been able to ride in the same car, but the single rider wait was only 20 minutes.
Kiss it, 180 minute wait. :)
Trevie loved the Tower of Terror and California Screamin'; I'm glad too, or else we would have had a small problem already in our marriage haha.
The day was wrapped up by the World of Color, probably one of the best shows I've ever seen Disney put on.
It truly was beautiful.
And again, even though our feet were sore, we had another successful day.

Day Three, August 8:
Our last day in the parks!
We were given one "early morning" entrance into Disneyland when we purchased our tickets.
That means we could wake up at the butt crack of dawn and be in to Disneyland at 7 a.m. before the park truly opened at 8 a.m.
Did we?
Helllll no.
We actually slept in just a tad bit longer than any other day previous in the week.
When we finally got to the park, we went to Disneyland to finish up the rides we didn't ride on Tuesday.
And I was bound and determined to find Rapunzel, which we did.
I even ran into some more people that I knew from good ol' Utah, the Varneys.
Just goes to show you what a small place the world actually is.
Trevie and I were all Disney'd out by the end of the day, so we left the parks early.
We ventured into Downtown Disney to look at the Lego Store, which Trevor loved.
What boy doesn't love Legos?
We wrapped up our Anaheim adventure with some fried chicken from Popeyes (so much better than KFC) and more Disney Channel.

Days Four, Five, & Six, August 9 - 11:
Friday morning we woke up an hour before checkout, got ready, and headed to San Diego.
It was a nice two hour drive up along with coast (made a stop at a view point overlooking the ocean; the blue just goes on for miles!), and only hit some minor stop and go traffic.
Again we received lots of good reactions to our "Just Married" back window.
Who knew Californians could be so nice?
Friday night we hung out with Danny, Michelle, and Cameron talking and showing them our Disneyland stuff and all the pictures I took.
There was also lots of swimming in the pool and hot tub.
Saturday we slept in, got bagels and Starbucks with Michelle, swam some more, and ate at a great Chinese buffet.
Seriously, just by eating that one meal we probably gained twenty or thirty pounds.
Sunday finally rolled around and we tried our damndest to avoid going home.
We went to Dave & Buster's (coolest arcade for adults ever) to celebrate Cameron's 25th birthday, went to the Toyota dealer to check out new cars for Michelle, and hung out at the same pet store where Michelle and Danny got Dexter, and we oogled over cute puppies.
Trevie really wants an English bulldog, and there were two there to play with.
I couldn't resist sloppy kisses from their fat, wrinkled faces.
Maybe someday, babe.
Even though we didn't want to leave, we packed our bags and threw them in the car, and left our home away from home.

Dream car now - Scion FR-S.
I think we can all conclude that Trevor and I had a great honeymoon.
And I personally think that we had just as much fun as we would have had on a cruise.
As long as I'm with my best friend and husband, I can always have a good time.
Honeymoons are the best.
And coming back to reality sucks balls.
