Let's play a little game, part two.

...
...
That other post was getting way too long.
Here's more catch up on our crazy life!

Basically, my first week of summer was spent in the copy center of the library, on the third floor of the library, and at Trev's apartment.
Thanks to no car, Trev's first week of summer was spent at home.
All by himself.
Poor guy.

On May 8th, an insurance adjustor came and looked at Trev's car.
Since the Honda already had a salvage title, the adjustor said that the insurance company was probably just going to total it.
Sure enough, on May 9th the Mexican's insurance lady called us.
{She has been great to work with, by the way. Very nice and understanding.}
The adjustor had uploaded his notes about Trev's car, and they decided to total it.
We could either a) give the car up and receive a check for $5,868, or b) keep the car and get a check for $4,600.
Guess what option we chose?
The check came yesterday in the mail... yay for new car shopping!
We spent the rest of last Thursday evening cleaning out the Honda and saying our goodbyes.
Who knew a little car could hold so many memories?
What's fun about getting a new car is all of the new memories we're going to make in it, as a married couple.
Goodbye, little Honda!
On Friday, May 10th, Enterprise Car Rental called Trev and let him know that the insurance lady had cleared the use of a rental car until we received our check in the mail.
Trev could either choose a) a minivan, b) a truck, or c) a 2013 Chevy Impala.
I was all for the truck, minus the shitty gas mileage we probably would've got in it.
Using his good judgement, Trevie rented the Chevy Impala.
And that car was a dream.
It smelled like a brand new car, had great interior, was beautiful and had some balls, meaning it could definitely get up and go.
Only downside?
It was rather big, and neither one of us were truly used to driving a large car.
Sadly, we had to return the rental car yesterday, but we took full advantage of it as we took a drive Friday evening up to the "C", and when we drove it down to St. George on Saturday to get my ring cleaned and to shop for engagement clothes.
Canyon drives are my favorite thing about summer.
My super sparkly clean ring. Thanks, Morgan Jewelers!
Saturday night was spent barbecuing and having a good ol' time with Taylor, Kimy and Josh.
Those pictures are too inappropriate to post, so I won't. ;)
{Just kidding. There's not a lot of trouble a bunch of kids under the age of 21 can get into on a Saturday night.}
The George Foreman that Mom and Dad gave Trev for his birthday has really proven its worth.
For real.
Thanks, George.

And of course Sunday was Mother's Day.
She's beauty and she's grace. . .
Here's my special belated Mother's day shout out to my mother, Tina, who I couldn't be planning this wedding without. Our relationship as mother-daughter has gotten a hell of a lot better since high school, and especially now that I'm engaged. Sometimes I open my mouth and I hear my mother come out, and I'm ok with that.

Even though I wasn't able to spend Mother's Day with my own mother, I spent it amongst amazing mothers.
There was a little get-together at Grandma Fullmer's house to eat cookies, pie, and ice cream sandwiches.
And of course, when those sugary treats didn't fill us up, me, Trev, Kimy, Taylor, Amanda, and aunt Trish went to Brody's a new Mexican restaurant here in Cedar City.
I was impressed with the chips and salsa, but my chimichanga tasted like crap.
The rice wasn't that great either.
{Cocolito's in Pleasant Grove will forever be my favorite Mexican place.}
Mother's Day was completed with a ride around on Taylor's 4-wheelers, despite our gassy and full stomachs.
I went to places in Cedar I didn't even know existed.
Top pic: Kimy and Taylor
Middle pic: Cedar City sunset, my favorite.
Bottom pic: two fatties riding a four-wheeler
The end.
The game of catch up is over.
All in all, the first couple of weeks have been busy.
I guess the biggest news of all is that Trev and I get married in two and a half months.
We have both requested off the last week of May, because we're going to be in Utah County finalizing wedding stuff and seeing friends and family.
So, if you want to see me and my fiance, let me know!

{Here are a couple of pictures from this week's random adventures to make you smile.}
The Tiki Shack here in Cedar is open! Best snow cones everrrr.
Remember when there was a trend of popping out the lenses of 3D glasses and wearing them?
Trev's cousin did his hair.
I love this pretty boy.
There was a baby shower in the library yesterday.
We played "My Water Broke"
Best. Game. Ever.
Trev and I love summer 2013!
{And I kind of really love him, too.}
